Clinical Experience

I have experience working with culturally diverse populations in managing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, major life transitions, terminal illness, and end-of-life.

Education

I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, CA. My education at Pacific Oaks taught me the importance of treating the whole person. Each person’s biopsychosocial make-up is unique and I believe that therapy should be tailored to fit each individual client within a safe, trusting, empathetic, nonjudgmental and collaborative relationship. My client is the expert. My job is to walk alongside my clients and to gently guide them in finding a more positive and healthier path forward toward self-compassion and self-acceptance. Life is complicated and unpredictable and we all need extra support sometimes to help us navigate life’s challenges.

In addition to my schooling,  I also have significant life experience in relationships, parenting, grief, loss, terminal illness, and managing life transitions. I have learned that life is a journey of continual growth and how to focus on what is most important. I strive to always be authentic with myself and with all those around me. I look forward to helping each of my clients, with humility and curiosity, to explore and honor their unique authentic selves.

I look forward to working with you!
