How do you know if I am the right therapist for you?

The success of a therapist is based on the relationship between the patient and therapist.  It requires you feel supported, understood, and safe. It will not take you long to get a sense whether I am the right clinician for you, and if not, I would encourage you to keep looking for a match that best fits your needs.

Fees And Services

Payment Options

I am considered an out-of-network provider. To determine if your insurance coverage includes outpatient therapy sessions with an out-of-network provider, contact your insurance company directly. If you choose to use your insurance, you would pay me directly and I would provide you with a super-bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I accept cash and all major credit cards.

In most cases, I meet with my patients on a weekly basis. We will decide on the frequency of your sessions within the first few meetings, and can reassess during the course of our work together.

Cancellation Policy

I require a 24-hour cancellation notice. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be billed the normal scheduled fee.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
